I am a bitter, persnickety little man living in Richmond, Virginia. I have a degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University which I am not really utilizing in my current capacity as the "Voice of the Office of Workers' Compensation."
In college I discovered a love for radio. Since then, it is pretty much been the only thing I have really wanted to do. After working in Richmond radio for five years in a part-time position, the need to support my family took over and I left the business for the more stable paycheck of state government. Well now, after two years away from radio, I miss it more than ever. I hope this page can give me an opportunity to showcase some of my work and perhaps even help land me a gig doing the thing that I love to do.
As far as my personal life, I would have to say that history is my hobby. I seek out as much information as I can on obscure 19th century US Presidents. I also have this strange love of useless knowledge. Perhaps I can utilize it one day on a game show, but until then I am stuck. I think this comes from a childhood desire to host a game show.
If I had to give my dream job, it would be to be the next Richard Dawson. Not the kissing everyone part, but the hosting. Perhaps someday that too will become a reality. For now I am happy with the idea of working in the radio industry in some form. Perhaps as on-air talent, but I seem to excell more in the promotions aspect. Ideally, I could do both.
